ZDHC | InCheck Report Validation, Promoting Zero Emissions of Hazardous SubstancesIssuing time:2023-10-07 13:21 ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) is an organization driven by textile, clothing, leather, and footwear brands and retailers, working together with their supply chain and other industry associations to establish industry standards and implement them, ultimately achieving zero emissions of hazardous chemicals in the supply chain. In order to achieve this goal, ZDHC released a joint roadmap and MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List) in 2011 and 2014, respectively, which are the production restricted substances lists. At present, many famous fashion brands in the global textile andfootwear market are contracted brands of ZDHC, and many of them have set their own goals for using chemical agents that comply with ZDHC MRSL in their products. What is ZDHC's InCheck report? The InCheck report is divided into Performance InCheck report and Verified InCheck report. Performance InCheck Report The Performance InCheck report displays the status of chemicals in the supplier's chemical inventory registered in the ZDHC Gateway Chemicals module and certified according to ZDHC MRSL. Suppliers can use the Performance InCheck report to demonstrate to stakeholders the MRSL compliance level of chemicals in their chemical inventory. The information and data contained in Performance InCheck include the monthly chemical inventory quantity uploaded by the supplier, the quantity and percentage of chemicals listed in the inventory on the ZDHC Gateway, and the MRSL compliance level of the chemicals. That is to say, the Performance InCheck report is based on data recorded in the supplier's chemical inventory, but has not been verified or verified by a third party. Verified InCheck Report The Verified InCheck report conducts on-site verification of the Performance InCheck report based on the principle of "trust but verification", and third-party verification of the chemical inventory details uploaded by the supplier. The ZDHC InCheck report can help suppliers check their chemical inventory based on the ZDHC MRSL on the ZDHC Gateway, which helps suppliers improve their sustainable chemical management practices. Obtain different display tags on the ZDHC gateway to convey more transparent and trustworthy information to stakeholders. |
