GRS certification, a sustainable fashion choice

GRS certification

The Global Recycling Standards (GRS) are standards held and updated by Textile Exchange (Sustainable Textile Promotion Society). This standard ensures the traceability of recycled products throughout the entire production process.

GRS is suitable for finished and intermediate products based on recycled materials. Currently, it is widely used in the textile industry (knitwear, printing, sewing, weaving, and dyeing), metal industry, and plastic industry. All trading parties involved in the product supply chain, including manufacturers, traders, brand owners, and retailers, who hope their recycled products can obtain international standard recognition, can apply for GRS certification.

GRS label

GRS label guarantees: products containing 20% or more recycled materials, respecting social and environmental requirements, and sustainable processing. Due to the high level of traceability of textiles made from recycled fibers or materials, transparent communication with consumers is carried out throughout the entire production chain (up to the finished product).

To use GRS labels, the product must contain at least 50% recycled materials.
